Enrollment priorities

California State Preschool Programs operate part day part year and full day full year at various locations for three and four year old children. (CSPP)

Enrollment priorities for  CSPP are:

  1. Families whose age eligible children are receiving child protective service or are at risk of being abused, neglected or exploited.
  2. Eligible four year old children with lowest income rankings.
  3. Eligible four year old children with 15% over income rankings.
  4. Eligible three year old children with lowest income rankings.

General Child Care and Development Programs operate full-day full-year for Infant and Toddlers ages 12 month to three years (CCTR)

Enrollment priorities for CCTR are:

  1. Families whose age eligible children are receiving child protective service or at risk of being abused, neglected or exploited.
  2. Families and age eligible children with the lowest income are admitted first.

Income eligible families qualify for full-day full-year programs when a need for child care is documented. (See Eligibility and Need Requirements)

Based on their monthly family income, there may be a daily family service fee. (See Income Guidelines )
