California State Preschool Programs operate part day part year and full day full year at various locations for three and four year old children. (CSPP)
Enrollment priorities for CSPP are:
- Families whose age eligible children are receiving child protective service or are at risk of being abused, neglected or exploited.
- Eligible four year old children with lowest income rankings.
- Eligible four year old children with 15% over income rankings.
- Eligible three year old children with lowest income rankings.
General Child Care and Development Programs operate full-day full-year for Infant and Toddlers ages 12 month to three years (CCTR)
Enrollment priorities for CCTR are:
- Families whose age eligible children are receiving child protective service or at risk of being abused, neglected or exploited.
- Families and age eligible children with the lowest income are admitted first.
Income eligible families qualify for full-day full-year programs when a need for child care is documented. (See Eligibility and Need Requirements)
Based on their monthly family income, there may be a daily family service fee. (See Income Guidelines )
